Hungry Mule offers you the opportunity to wine and dine your friends at home with exceptional cuisine without the stresses and strains of usual entertaining.
Let one of our chefs prepare a 3 course meal for you and your friends, leaving you, the host, free to enjoy the company of your guests and the fine food on offer.
Again we devise menu’s specific to each individuals taste. Each menu will be balanced accordingly, with one course complimenting another.
If you wish your menu to be themed then we offer 4 main regional styles of cooking. Whether it’s Spanish, Thai, Italian or English a Hungry Mule dinner party will leave you the talk of your guests.

The following are examples of what type of food is on offer for each themed night. Again these menus are not fixed and the Hungry Mule works exclusively with its customers to devise a menu that best suits them.

Thai Sample Menu
Starters
- Tom yam fish soup finished with coconut milk & coriander
- Selection of spring rolls, sesame toast & chicken satay with dipping sauces
- Spicy crispy chicken wings with mango & papaya salsa
Main Courses
- 5 spice glazed belly pork with pan fried scallops, apple & fennel salad with sesame dressing
- Pad Thai served in a spring onion omelette with griddled prawns & crushed peanuts
- Thai green chicken curry served with sticky coconut rice
Desserts
- Banana fritters with pineapple syrup
- Thai style fruit salad with palm sugar dressing
Italian Sample Menu
Starters
- Pan fried wild mushroom & mozzarella risotto cakes with rocket & parmesan salad
- Polenta crisps with basil aioli dip
- Anti pasti plate of cured meats, homemade breads, sundried tomatoes, roast peppers and olives with aged balsamic and olive oi
Main Courses
- Goats cheese & spinach stuffed ravioli with truffle oil & sauté baby spinach
- Creamy smoked salmon, dill and crayfish gnocchi with fennel and rocket
- Slow roast duck leg with olive & balsamic glaze roasted rosemary new potatoes

- Hazelnut & chocolate torte with sweetened mascarpone

Spanish Sample Menu
Starters
- A selection of tapas including paprika and honey ribs, homemade meatballs, potatoes bravas, tempura squid with aioli, roasted peppers and feta with balsamic, stuffed aubergine with spiced chickpeas and spinach.
Main Courses
- Slow cooked chicken thigh, chorizo & chickpea stew with warm crusty bread
- Tray baked sea bream with roasted paprika potatoes, sun dried tomatoes & roast peppers with gremolata
- Warm courgette & feta frittata with tomato salsa & garlic and herb potatoes
Desserts
- Cointreau Crème Cataluña with orange compote
- Deep fried churros with chocolate dipping sauce
English Sample Menu
Starters
- Ham, pea & chicken liver terrine with watercress, apple chutney, mustard dressing & cider cheese bread
- Potted prawns with homemade bread
- Griddled asparagus with soft poached eggs & hollandaise
Main Courses
- Slow cooked belly pork with crispy black pudding, caramelized apple & blue vinny with cider gravy & roast potatoes
- Crispy herb crusted halibut with twice cooked chips, pea cream & homemade tartare sauce
- Creamy leek, potato & mature cheddar suet pudding with parsley sauce & fresh vegetables
