At a wedding last summer, the Hungry Mule team helped make a memorable day 'extra' special! Despite a very hot day, they worked tirelessly, attentive and caring to everyone. Clearly passionate about their work, looking after us - proactively - throughout two long days. Food - fresh, creative, colourful, plentiful, and deeeelicious! Thanks to you all for your warmth and enthusiasm - you're a credit to our country! Lizzy xxx

Experienced Hungry Mules Buffet at our daughters wedding last September. It was fantastic, great variety and all tasted devine. I don't think there was a single guest that didn't comment on the quality of the the food.It was so good we used them again the next day for a paella for another 60 guests, friends and family that stayed over. This is what all catering should be like. Well done Hungry Mule.

Absolutely fantastic food. Attended a party that Hungry Mule catered - mini versions of the birthday girls favourites (ie, fish and chips etc)!!Unbelievable flavours and beautifully presented!! The team have such a passion for what they do at it really shows in what they create.

Hungry Mule’s food is just my idea of perfect food... incredibly tasty, decent locally sourced ingredients, plenty of colour on a plate and totally unpretentious. If we ever get married we’ve said we’d love Hungry Mule to cater for us. In the meantime we get to enjoy his delicious food at home (delivery) or at local events. His signature sticky ribs are unbelievably good! We also had Sam and his team cater for a Christmas party at Heavers of Bridport. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and we’re hoping to book Hungry Mule again this year.

We cannot thank Sam and his hungry mule team enough for the catering he did for our wedding a few weeks ago.From the first meeting he immediately grasped the concept we were trying to go for (an Italian inspired family buffet) and turned our original idea into a masterpiece!!He was extremely professional; being truthful about what would and wouldn’t work but coming up with alternatives to improve the final menu.His positive attitude and enthusiasm made the whole experience relaxed and an enjoyment.As for the wedding day, we had no concerns or worries about the catering, which allowed us to enjoy our wedding day even more.The food was absolutely delicious, his attention to detail was superb and the food tasted amazing – even our Italian Uncle said how nice everything was!!We really cannot recommend Sam and his team highly enough – the whole experience was fantastic!!Thank you so much again, from Mr and Mrs Ward

@hungry_mule dinner!!!! Wow! That was like a party in my mouth! Didn’t get any pics of the dessert, but I can tell you the Chcoalte semi fredo, crushed meringue, Berry compote was amazing! Main course Bombay braised lamb, mushroom mac cheese, roasted veggie Greek salad!Thank you so much Sam from @hungry_mule you out did your self again! Quick, professional, friendly and outstanding taste!! Everyone get onboard with them! Dinner time has just upped its game! P.s the little people loved it just as much? always a winner! @ West Bay, Dorset

I asked Hungry Mule to cater for a family birthday party at The Old Rectory Symondsbury. We chose the Big Pan option which meant everyone could help themselves and made for a lovely informal, relaxed dinner for all ages. Everything arrived on time, the food was delicious and I didn't have to worry about anything. The whole family agreed it was a great success. Thank you all.

Food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Lots of choice. Beautifully presented. I was able to enjoy the party as I wasn't worrying about the food. Hassle free. Definitely recommend and will use again.

I chose Hungry Mule to cater for a big birthday that I was celebrating at Crepe Farmhouse, Symondsbury. The firm had catered my daughter’s wedding so I knew that I could rely on them for quality and good value.The menu choice was extensive and varied and my choice for a January birthday proved to be highly popular with the 40 guests. The food was flavoursome, well presented and there were many compliments from my guests. Many had second and even third helpings. At the end of the night the two guys left the kitchen immaculate....no washing up...marvellous.Highly recommend this company 5*.

Hungry Mule catered for 13 people at our New Years Eve dinner and did a great job. The team who looked after us and served could not have been more helpful and the food was excellent - high quality and more than we could eat. They departed at 10.00 pm and the kitchen was left immaculate.

We hired hungry mule to cater at our wedding on Saturday 7th December. We chose a cold buffet (my partners favourite) and we were very impressed! Some of the family were a bit dubious about having a cold buffet in December, but they soon took this back! The presentation was like something you see on films and it all tasted delicious!! The taste even managed to exceed the presentation. All of our guests were also really impressed and I’m sure hungry mule will be highly sought after. The staff were also lovely! Samuel and Tim communicated with my partner a lot leading up to the wedding helping her stay organised and keeping her mind at ease. Also the waiting staff were all friendly! We highly recommend this caterer!! Worth every penny.

Hungry Mule provided canapes and a three course evening meal for me at The Bridge House Hotel Bridport in November. My party numbered nine and I can state that everyone was really impressed with the quality of the food and the friendly and helpful way it was presented.I will certainly use The Hungry Mule again and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Hungry Mule catered our Wedding in July, and words cannot describe how thrilled we were with everything they did for us on the day. Throughout the planning process the team were spot on. On the day the team were absolutely fantastic...incredibly professional, well presented, friendly & accommodating. They really went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. And the food! Wow! The BBQ was delicious!! We would highly recommend Hungry Mule Catering to anyone looking for something bespoke & extra special...You won't be disappointed!

We cannot fault the Hungry Mule team. They catered for our wedding and delivered an outstanding meal and service. They took great effort to design a unique menu for us and deliver it at a high standard that surpassed our expectations. Our guests repeatedly commented on how good the food was - and not just politely on the day. We’ve had people ask for the recipe of some items! Thank you Sam, Portia, Gibby and the Hungry Mule team.

I would absolutely recommend using Hungry Mule - Sam and the team did an incredible job for my birthday party - from the planning before to coping with serving paella on the slopiest drive to absolutely delicous food that everyone loved. The team was hugely helpful, polite, tidy and profiessional. Would absolutely use them again.

We would have no hesitation in giving Hungry Mule the highest possible recommendation. Sam and Portia (and the rest of the team) were fantastic from start to finish with our wedding, always making sure we were happy! We came to Sam with a few bespoke menu requests and he couldn't have been more enthusiastic and engaging. He put us at ease immediately, which continued throughout the wedding preparation and the day itself. The food was of exceptional quality and nobody left hungry, that's for sure! We had a mix of nationalities at our wedding and they could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the canapes and wedding breakfast. The food was exactly what we were hoping for and more- original, creative and full of flavour. Thanks to all the Hungry Mule team for making the day so easy and so much fun for us - absolutely brilliant!

Great food is the cornerstone of every great wedding and, in that respect, Hungry Mule more than delivered for us! The presentation, flavour and quality of the crab starter, lamb main and treacle tart pudding was exceptional and miraculously identical (considering Hungry Mule were catering for 110 wedding guests, of which 24 had dietary requirements). We cannot thank the Hungry Mule team enough. From the chef brigade to the front of house, every member of the team was simply fantastic, warm, friendly, professional and tireless. We would not hasten to work with Hungy Mule again and would heartily recommend their services to everyone.

We’ve used Sam before for work events but we decided to use him and the hungry mule for our wedding and everything went really well, we benefitted from a tasting and a couple meetings. Nothing was to much trouble and the end result was that EVERYONE loved the food, all dishes went down really well, the beef wellington especially. The food was amazing and would highly recommend.

A real surprise from the guys at The Hungry Mule - the menu looked unusual for what looked like a trendy burger bar - asian slaw and ribs ? - which made me think they might be a 'cut above'... and WOW, really awesome burger, one of the best I've had anywhere. Really decent size and high quality. I'd highly recommend it.

We have used Hungry Mule twice during our week long stay in Dorset, using both their in-house chef/waiter service, and also their express service (food delivered with instructions). Both meals have been truly excellent, with our group of 20 all loving everything served.Would highly recommend Samuel and the team at Hungry Mule.
